Giuliani Would Be a Disaster as President!

Those of us who live in NYC shudder at the thought of Giuliani as a U.S. president. We saw this guy -- notoriously incompetent as a Federal prosecutor -- his cases were frequently thrown out of court -- play the hate game between our diverse communities. His father had been a low level enforcer for the mob and he manifestly continued on that approach to major concerns that did not accord with his own narrow interests. He was not much of a family man, either, with apparent extra-marital interests that blew away his marriage(s). Rudy got his rep post 9/11 -- but part of that disaster was his own doing, his having placed our NYC emergency response center in a building near the World Trade Center -- with an illegal oil storage tank above street level that destroyed the building and left Giuliani wondering the streets while people died.

After this event he allowed about 40,000 workers cleaning up the pile (debris left at the site) to destroy their lungs -- and sent them a letter with a few words of thanks with mainly threats to take legal action against any who complained. This guy is a real SOB. I would hate to see what he would do to the country or what fights he would pick outside it! And his appointments would be as disastrous as those of Bush and perhaps worse with his disposition to hate any and all who criticize him. Good news that his plans to run have been blown:

The loss of the battle plan is a remarkable breach and a potentially disastrous blunder for Giuliani in the early stages of his campaign.
