31 Days in Iraq

[A Columbia political science grad student and a graphic designer have combined efforts to display in today's NY Times the categories of killed in Iraq -- some 1,900+ -- this January just passed. The first website below is the chart indicating by categories -- various military, civilians -- killed each day of the month. These categories are at the base of the chart which takes a minute or so to display by line computer. Perhaps it takes graphics to make such things real? CNN also reports this morning that all 4 U.S. helicopters lost during this period were shot down by enemy fire. Ed Kent]

I wish Bush had taken more time to read the papers and less time cat naping his life away.

Though a picture may be worth a thousand words. . I think this picture horrifically reminds me of the thousand times I wondered why the words like IMPEACHMENT have never been spoken and were not spoken before this foolish man was allowed to begin this reckless war.
