Cut Off from AIDS Treatment

[I was horrified last week to hear an interview with several (African American) women in a southern state who had been told they would have to wait for treatment for the disease that was killing them until they were reached in the long line of those seeking help, given the limitation of funds available for their treatment.

I seem to recall Bush promising billions for the treatment of AIDS in Africa recently -- probably not to be delivered. Such is life in the U.S. that people are dying while the Bush regime plays pr with its war games. Ed Kent]
