Murder iln Iraq!

[Reading this account of the slaughter carried out by Blackwater is a nightmare. It is the equivalent of the My Lai atrocity in Viet Nam which involved a slaughter of the residents of an entire village by angered American troops:

Worse in this instance is that paid mercenaries -- some American, but also some carry overs from oppressive regimes such as Pinochet's Chile -- are being used to 'police' Iraqis. Some of our own soldiers have similarly flipped out and slaughtered innocents -- probably far more than we shall ever know. But they were mainly young and inexperienced with the horrors of war. These guys are seasoned professionals who have no restraints placed on them and are little more than high paid ($200,000+ per year each) mass murderers. Bluntly put, this is yet another reason for American shame -- illegal war, torture, violations of human rights and international law and now --- brutal mass MURDERS!!!

Shame, Bush, Cheney and Co. What next -- mass killing of Iranians?
