Gaza -The Great Divide?

As I scan through several days of mail this morning, it looks to me as though Gaza has created a passionate divide among people. Those committed to Israel are outraged at protests against its attacks. Those opposed to Israel and many of us who support Israel's independent existence are appalled by Israel's brutality. I suspect that the latter categories vastly outnumber the first and that frightens me for the future. Israel is making itself hated by too many people and is raising serious doubts by its conduct among those who support its existence. This does not bode well for it.
