War Profits?

During WW2 and immediately thereafter my father -- a staunch Republican -- took on a government job, heading up the OPA for Connecticut, i.e. the Office of Price Administration that investigated corporations that had profited from war contracts -- excessively. This FDR initiative managed to refund to tax payers a considerable amount of the ill-gotten gains that war profiteers has pried loose:

Perhaps it is time that we did the same with the present profiteers from the Iraq war?
