We Kill Some More in Iraq

[Our high tech -- rockets from on high -- military is bound to kill indiscriminately -- more so now that we are ratcheting it up. Of course our troops do not do all the killing, but it is our intervention in Iraq that has unleashed the killing games there. One does not need much imagination to figure how the friends and families of those being killed feel about our ever more aggressively occupying army.

A US air strike killed eight Kurdish Peshmerga soldiers and wounded six others in northern Iraq on Friday in what appeared to be a "friendly fire" incident, Kurdish officials said. The US military also announced the deaths of three US soldiers killed in combat in western Anbar province. A British soldier was killed and three were wounded by a roadside bomb in Basra in southern Iraq, the Ministry of Defence said in London.
