Federal Attorneys Bounced

A New Mystery to Prosecutors: Their Lost Jobs
By DAVID JOHNSTON, ERIC LIPTON and WILLIAM YARDLEY
A furor over the ouster of eight U.S. attorneys has taken
the Bush administration by surprise.

These highly qualified Federal Prosecutors are apparently being fired by Gonzalez because they have been doing their jobs too well! Needless to say they will have no difficulty in finding replacements that will undoubtedly pay better. But the horrendous example is there. Such can happen to any and all and we need all the support we can get when it does -- particularly the whistle blowers and those who refuse to do wrong things for their employers.

Note that I managed to leave the 'e' off the list title when I sent out the earlier notice -- one of the few areas where I cannot enlarge type is on subject headings.

I have been catching up on a number of hundreds of emails that have just come in after the Brooklyn reworking. Nothing in the job department arrived which is unusual -- probably due to this being a weekend. But I shall start sending out such as they come in to this list and wider outlets as well. If anyone has job offers or suggestions, please send them to me or directly to:

I have limited access to list members' names to me as owner, if any wish to maintain privacy when joining the list. There is no record if one checks in now and again:

Several people have contacted me privately with offers to help out.
