Immigration Counseling

A few years ago I worked with our CUNY Citizenship head, Allan Wernick (who also does a column on immigration matters for the Daily News):

I am now out of touch with the rapidly changing details. But I am aware from queries from my students what a mess things are for many of them who have arrived in this country in good faith as refugees, students, or with families as young children. Many talented people are being lost to us because of this chaos. One of our best at Brooklyn College, Neemarie Alam, who was fully Americanized with younger siblings born as American citizens finally led her parents (both valuable doctors qualified to practice here) to Canada where they have reestablished their lives:
