Say Bye, Bye to the Human Race

My retired colleague, Paul Taylor, one of the two or three leading philosophers in American ethics, in his last book, Respect for Nature:

noted that most species run a finite course of time in history and that by that paradigm, we humans have more or less done ours. Needless to say that birth control is one of our major priorities as the proliferation of humans will kill us off, one way or another -- resource crises, wars, etc.
